Hi guys and gals, after some help.

Now I'm a very rotund gentleman and trying to find gear has not been easy, however I did find a jacket on trademe I hoped would fit, however it has arrived and doesn't.

Do you folks know anyone down here who could tailor the leather jacket for me without costing an arm and a leg?

I pretty much spent all the money I have borrowed to get gear sorted and getting the bike on the road, but will to see what I can do to get some decent gear (I know a polar fleece is not the best protection).

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

does it have to be leather, have you tried some of the goretex or cadoura jackets. i dont think i could go back to wearing leather after wearing one of these

MCR are getting me in a cordura jacket, which I have found someone to adjust if necessary, however I have already paid for the jacket, and would love to see if I can get it to fit without it costing a fortune, otherwise will return it and get a vest I guess.

I have an older leather jacket that is too big for me, but It doesn't much in the way of armour and that sort of carry on. PM me with an estimate of your size if you're interested, it would be very cheap.
