Before you vote - please read the article below, esp. their reason for being removed from society. Now they are "free" or "on the run" what type of things/activities do you think they will become involved in?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++

A convicted killer and a violent robber are on the run after escaping from Rangipo Prison near Turangi in the central North Island this morning.

Murderer Stuart Martin Harrison and robber and sex offender Sumit Carrick Narayan were dangerous and should not be approached, police said.

Harrison was last seen in his unit at about 7.50am.

While prison staff were investigating Harrison's escape, they discovered Narayan, 30, had also gone.

Harrison was described as a male Maori, 175cm tall, of medium build, with black hair down to his collar. He is 23.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black cap or beanie, a dark jersey and a blue and white checked jacket.

He was in December 2004 jailed for life for the murder of Punoua Robert Harvey Tourangi, 22, with a non parole period of nine and a half years.

Harrison killed Mr Tourangi at the Caltex service station at the corner of Great South Rd and Puhinui Rd, in Papatoetoe, in March 2003.

The Crown's said that Harrison "calmly" straddled the already injured man as he lay on the ground and thrust a large knife into his temple.

Police said it was believed Harrison had connections in the Opotiki and Auckland areas.

Narayan was described as a Fijian-Indian, 184cm tall of medium build with a shaved head.

He was serving 15 years in jail for aggravated robbery and unlawful sexual connection.

Narayan was found guilty of committing a series of brutal and degrading acts on a prostitute, apparently acting out pornography he'd collected on his computer.

He robbed one sex worker he'd lured into his car on the pretext of giving him oral sex. Later the same evening he picked up another woman and also robbed her. When she escaped from his car, he pulled her back by her hair at knifepoint.

He forced her to give him oral sex and performed various acts on her, including defecating on her face and sodomising her.

Police found large quantities of hardcore pornography on his computer, including some showing the acts he performed against the victim.

"Any sightings or information regarding these men should be reported to police immediately," Detective Sergeant Neale Saunders of Turangi police said in a statement.

I like the Chinese model, they shoot the villain and charge the family for the bullet.

Beyond all reasonable doubt! "BANG" :niceone: John.

PS: I don't believe that puts me at their level, they have made "that" choice! :headbang:

There are days were I sit shivering :cold: in my cold house waiting for the fire to warm the place up only to think of all the possible people siting in a nice new jail with heated floors. They even have TV with sky... don't even have a TV at the moment let alone sky. The only good thing on being on the outside is going for a ride. :scooter: :ride: :2thumbsup:woohoo:

On the face of it, these animals don't deserve to live. However, while they're alive, there's always some hope - no matter how slim - that they'll be rehabilitated and turn their lives around.
On the other hand, one could argue that what they've done is sufficient to deserve being removed from the gene pool.
On the other other hand, a three-handed mutant.

I don't feel bad about saying it - shoot those mother fuckers on sight - I don't believe you can rehabilitate everyone and some of the shit they have pulled falls in my 'they are beyond help' bucket.

Just my two cents....gawsh darn it...when do I get to do jury service

My point is, yeah, fuck rehabilitation, that's bollocks. I'd love to shoot the cunts myself.

But can anyone see a real path toward a society where we do get to shoot them?

The difficulty I see is that it's probably impossible to realise that without all sorts of babies being thrown out with the bathwater.

Comments?

I'm not in favour of anyone not connected with the events shooting anyone in a surge of self righteous, holier than thou, indignate revenge!

I am, however, very much in favour of handing these cretins over to the victim, or victims immediate family, to do with as they wish, with no comeback!

I retract my earlier statement - give them to the victim or victims family to do what they want to them!

ALSO SHOULD any of those families need support or ideas for how to send these varmints off...call me ;) I offer free quotes

We don't really want "fear" what we need is some self respect and respect for each other and societies laws.

Personally I believe there are too many ineffective laws that are unable to be Policed properly, the result is that there is no respect for the law, the enforcers, or society it's self as a consequence.

The do gooders have had their chance and enough evidence is there to prove that their ineffective methods are not popular with the majority of society and should be changed.

How much longer is society going to allow this to continue?

There is an opportunity to rectify the problem later this year but will "society" actually change anything? John.

You're quite right; the do-gooders HAVE had their chance, as have the scumbags. Before the election I wonder how many on KB will go to their local politicians and ask about their law and order policies.

If you plan on doing so what questions would you ask?

Never mind the method, look for the satisfaction!

Having done a lot of hunting in my younger days, I felt guilty for killing so many noble animals, their crime being nothing more than just making their way in the world they were borne to.

Killing is a learned behaviour and if you have never been faced with it, you may find it is much harder to do than you might think.

Every animal I have ever killed I had respect for and felt bad that this is what we do but did it as quickly and cleanly as possible casting the emotional consequences from my mind.

Mainly wild pig hunting with two dogs and knife.

Some of the deadbeat people on this earth of ours would cause me no such emotional hand wringing should I ever be in the position where I could dish out the same learned behaviour upon them.

My greatest fear would be that I may not be able to conceal the enjoyment and that it might become habit forming!

This small country alone provides such scope as a bountiful hunting ground for such deserving species.

It wouldn't take long to train a couple of dogs and sharpen my knife! :shifty:

Are any of the political parties offering a price per Kg on villains, dead or alive? :blip:

They just might get my vote. John.

I think we could take this to the next step - why waste our time killing them, put them on a big version of those wheels that mice use. Let the fuckers generate power for us via a big dynamo. Give them 1 meal a day, 12 hours of work, the rest is their own free time.
Its what the rest of us end up doing for a living.

i really don't understand all this. If it costs $50k-$60k or whatever to keep a prisoner per year why can't I go to the Justice system and say I won't commit any crimes that put me in prison for only 30k-$40k per year
