Well I thought I would try advertising this on here and see if I can get a better offer than the dealer has made.

This is a Roulette Green 2002 955i Triumph Tiger, first registered in the UK and I am its second owner, I personally imported this from the UK when I moved to NZ last year and have used it for the last 10-11 monthes.
It has a number of extras fitted including :-

Factory Fitted.

Centre Stand.
Heated Grips.

Others:

Hagon Rear Shock (Replacing the utterly Crap Kayaba/Triumph OE unit) fitted last year for compliance.
Engine Bars.
Baglux Tank Cover (Matching Roulette Green).
Battery Minder.

Also for your info for compliance last year both front Discs were replaced, and it has had a new Battery approximately 6 monthes ago.

I will ad some Pics later when it has stopped raining.

If it sell's I'll stick 6 monthes WOF on it.

Any questions PM or if you want to View PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP. Anyway make an offer and if its better than the Dealers you may well be lucky.

Cheers

Andy

good luck with the sale - what's next?

Have you paid GST on it? Think you need to keep it 2 years after importing it if you brought it in GST-free?

Before I sold my 02' Sprint, a Dealer offered me $7K for a trade, I accepted $9K a week later on Trademe. My Trademe price was $9300.

Nice looking Tiger, also a bike on my "maybe this would be good for an adventure bike" list.
How do you find the Hagon shock? The OE things certainly left a bit to be desired.... something like "suspension" seemed to be missing!

Re your pricing; the same thing (has luggage but no shock upgrade) is available for $9995 at a dealer in Auckland so you may need to reasses your pricing but good luck anyway.

If you want to sell it for $8k I'd be in.

Welcome as well!

Why on earth would you want to sell a bike like that in New Zealand? :spanking:

Unless you were going to upgrade!

In which case it is then back to question 1. :shifty:

After you search around you will come back to the same conclusion as every other Tiger 955i owner. :ride:

There is nothing better available to replace it with!

At that mileage it's barely run in! :shit:

Oh well, good luck with the sale. :sunny: Cheers (very satisfied Tiger 955i owner) John.

PS: It's stopped raining! (pics)

In order I guess :-

Matt yep I have something in the pipeline, not everyones cup of tea but I like it Moto Guzzi V11. And yeah the GST's a bugger but I'll live with it.

Crisis : I reckon mines better specked , though he has after market luggage, mine has Centre Stand, Heated Grips, Baglux Tank Cover, Engine Bars, Battery Minder and the Hagon Shock which is way better than the original so all in all some nice sensible upgrades on mine to improve on the original.

Oldman :- Each to thier own I guess, Tiger's not for me at the ned of the day but I am glad you like yours.

Cheers

Yep thought that at the time too Mark ! Figured it was a cash offer they made the man And know most dealer offers are pathetic So was being realistic in terms of making an offer which i thought would be higher than most dealers !
Offer still stands even knowing the bikes prolly worth 9 or 10 but then i might even get a black one for that, or a speed master for 1 or 5 more ! (EFI) lol

Edit : Awww +GST lol thanks helen !
