Sun in Canterbury

:sunny::clap:Today we finally had the sun for most of the day. Been over a week since that has last happened. I had a weeks annual leave from work but had to just look at my new :ride:, sitting in the garage.
BUT today, i got my :ride: out and went for a splat. It was awesome:niceone: Saw a few other :scooter: out too :wavey: :niceone:as we passed each other. After riding around for 150km, i relucantly came home again:lol:
Can honestly say it was the hilight of my week, and a great way to end my leave...... back to reality tomorrow:oi-grr::weep:

Yeap was lots of sun today, warm as, no wind perfect day for riding.
So where was I?
Standing in the middle of a vineyard next to SH1 pruning vines.. fuming with envey as I watched bike after bike, mobs of 5 - 10 sprot bikes and a score of Hardleys cruze past me. Lucky Bastards!

I hear ya - the weather had been so crappy and was beaut last thursday - the forcast for Fri and the weekend was crap (Saturday snowed!) so I left work last Thursday at 2.30 and picked up the bike and went for a spin to Akaroa.

I felt better after that :cool:
