Hi ive had a few troubles with putting my dirt bikes on a normal trailer and going out to the sandpit......last night {two moons night ride} my drz400 almost fell off because the front wheel has nothing stoping it from moving..so anyway do any of you guys know where you can hire a proper dirt bike trailer ??? cheers

Bolt two bits of wood to the front bulkhead for the front wheel to slot into. Cut a piece of timber the length between under the front gaurd to the front tyre and slot it in before you tie the bike down. This will look after the fork seals and stop the ties downs for falling off when the trailer goes over a bump. Use two tie downs on the front (one either side), and one on the rear. Hey presto, no need for purpose built trailer.

Otherwise my workplace can build you a trailer

Yea the two planks will work well. Two bits of 4x2 bolted to make a wheel rut on the trailer.
I just tie mine with rope sideways to stop the front wheel moving and the rear tied straight back.

We have just got a frame made by Pinto to fit our tralier. It just slots on the front, put in 2 pins and away you go. Ours has 2 slots for bikes and some extra tie-down points. They can make them with 3 slots as well. Is a relatively simple design so you could get it made easily from anyone who can wield.

I have this one I just took off my trailer thats on T/me at the moment. Its a bit soft where the paint is missing because I made it out of untanalised timber but it will last for a while yet especially if you paint it again. Two bolts to bolt it on and the middle tyre gap is wide enough for a 1000 road bike as well.

Yours free if you want it.

Secondly you ride MX and you can't make something??

are you using tie downs?
also try chucking a strop over the back wheel for siedways stability.

Put the front wheel into the corner,it's not going anywhere then.I've carried 3 bikes like that plenty of times - one in each corner and one in backwards.
