BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Go Ali.
It's not actually all that funny, but he (and, more tellingly, his managers, advertising consultants and shareholders) are certainly in possession of big brass ones. Good on the lot of 'em.

Funny how it took until the end of a mangled rendition of the Star Spangled Banner before the Joe Redneck hive-mind realised the piss was being taken... Americans. Sheesh!Ali G was too blatant. If he'd used irony he would have been able to walk out the front door...

I still reckon they didn't know. It was the fact he sung the anthem wrong.....

Can't wait for new episodes to air here.
It's does trouble me, how much of a deep seeded hatred people in NZ seem to have for Americans. Not Bush, but everyday americans... :spudwhat:

There are quite a few historical occasions when the US have either taken us for granted or created a problem a couple of centuries ago whose effects are still being felt now. I suggest you read James Belich and Michael King for a better idea of just why we don't trust them. The British didn't set up the early 19th century Aoteoroa musket economy - US whalers did. They also brought Syphilis, gonhorrea, and alchohol to NZ.
Do some research on the 1944 Canberra pact of you want to see an example of US bullying. No nuclear ship visits was most certainly not the first time we've resisted US bullying, however the outcome of the 1944 Canberra pact meant NZ's economy was effectively a closed money market until the mid '80s. It was also the beginning of Australia's suckling at the US's teat.

He's da bomb and he's on telly again. 9.30pm on Tuesday nights, I'm not sure if it's ongoing or not. I keep forgetting to watch.

I'm sure I saw that on tv recently, although the news is dated 2 days ago. Maybe i'm just imagining it.
Still funny as shit though.
