I got my first win at the local go kart track down here in dunnas on my wr450.
I got 2nd in the first race, then 1st and then a very contriversual 3rd in the last race.
I was following a guy from Invas who come up for the day on a very trick ktm525/540.
Follwed him for the whole race until the white flag came out, i did the most agressive pass i had ever done into the 160 degree hairpin and managed to hold him off to the checkered flag.
Found out afterwards that they had put the white flag up a lap too late and also the checkered, so we did 7 laps instead of 6, therefore aparently i got 3rd.
Just wanting to check the ruling on this, since i am a noob to racing.
I am sure they have got it right cos they seem to know their stuff.
cheers

I imagine it's down to the lap scorers, if they are different from the people who do the flags then they would have only counted the correct number of laps and that's what makes for the final result.
Bummer dude, you'll just have to make your move a few laps earlier next time eh?
Ain't Motards on a Kart track just the shit?:headbang:

Good racing Hayden. At least you know that anyone behind you will either try pass immediatley or back off real quick. I was following you in practice and your bike blew a backfire into my face that nearly knocked my helmet off!

Thanks Tony, it was actually a clean pass i ended up doing, he just took a wider entry line and that was it i seen the light.
I do agree with not being too agressive eg Rossi vs Stoner, but it makes for great viewing

If you didn't touch the other guy or force him off the track it's not to aggresive, trust me:innocent:
