Just went for a cruise through town on an '01 Duece.
Vivid black, 95 inch motor, Squakin' Seagull pipes, wide "beach" bars and ol' Jimmy White trash at the controls, with a whole lotta attitude dressed in his best "wife beater" singlet.
It's only about 25 deg C out there.
God I love my job!

Just watch you don't rear end someone when you're looking around just to see who's looking at ya eh! Did you have a proper set of cool shades on to match the singlet and the right sort of helmet?
I'm loving my job at the moment too, still on holiday.
Took the Landcruiser to the Y'rapa yesterday (missus likes to take that over occasionally in case she wants to buy some furniture or whatever) and other than a few Harley dudes at the Wild Oats the road was abandoned by bikes.
Coming home at around 5pm for about the first time in my life I saw the top of the hill carpark devoid of bikes altogether.

Bike or Mistral, bike or Mistral? (not that namby-pamby hairdressers try-to-be off road type of Mistral, the V8 old type open top kit-car type of Misral).
32 degrees and sunny, :sweatdrop , the Mitral won 'cos I had to pick up a bunch of bits for Mrs SD's Fairlane and take no1 son into town ( a whole mile away).
Then at 3pm it was back to the fantasy world and I climbed into my uniform a sallied forth to "Serve and Protect", what a waste of a good riding evening, dang!! :brick:

I used to love my job....then I got pregnant...:weep: ... now I have a new job... the pay is shitty, he hours are crap, the bosses are tempermental, some of the duties required are a little health hazzardous, my hobbies have had to go on the back burner and my social life and vocabulary has been shot to hell...but all in all, the benefits outweigh the above mentioned.

Funny how that happens. I don't care about anything else at work except earning the money and getting out the door to get home. I love looking after them when Heather is at work too.

A very good day it was. I even was able to coax an apprehensive Mrs Sels1 on to the bike for a gentle ride over Paekak hill for a coffee at Pa' nui. Next challenge is to get her to come over the 'Takas.......
