If youve got one, I need your help, Ive got an intermittant problem that bike shops cant find as it self rights itself by the time the bike finds itself to a shop. And the problem cant reproduced once it had "fixed" itself. Every time it gets near a mechanic it runs fine, which has so far been costly, frustrating and timewasting.
Runs fine around the place then when I stop once it will only start on 2 cyl
Runs fine around the place then when I stop for a third time-2cyl
Starts 32 times in the garage fine, then starts on 2 cycl on the 33rd
Riding along and then, 2 cyl. Does it sometimes hot, does it cold.
May right itself immediately, may take a few days.
Runs a couple months fine, then does it twice in a couple days.
All connections tight and clean. I just need to isolate the problem without buying new coil and computer etc if it doenst need them. So when it does it next, I need to borrow/rent a computer for 30mins to be sure the dynatek control unit my bike has isnt sick. (which is why I just cant put my computer into another bike unless it has a dynatek plug pick up, although mine retains the original comp plug as well) Theory is that the dynateck might be engaging the rev limiter randomly which causes this problem.
Happy to provide drink, gas money, firewood etc for the favour. Need bike for work and sanity.
