Sick trophies eh...
Should be... "fully sic" trophies and will be a fully sic race!
Unfortunately we can't get to this, but it will become the next iconic off road race for juniors before they go onto the senior events(dead Toad). Not many around like this so get the kids into it now!!.
Have fun WMCC!!

The 10-11 year old track is 5.5 k and will take approx 12-15 minutes per lap so you can expect to do 4 to 6 laps in the hour.
The 12-16 year old race is 8.6 k and will take approx 15-20 minutes per lap so you can expect to do 4 to 7 laps in the hour and a half.
Take it easy on Tony - he used to be in the Air Force you know

Nice shots clmintie- thats my young fella in the first pic- thanks for the kind words- NO injuries.
Yes we hope to do it again next year- the turnout was in the mid 60's which we were real happy with- can only grow from there.
Results now up- click on our link.

Bill, the club will have to add the tadpole to the calendar. I promise I'll try to not drop and stall the bike each bloody lap at the chicane. Sorry Des, I just freeze when I see the bunting (with tree roots to not drop the bike on), but thankfully got it right the last time (that really made my ride).
looking at my times, maybe I shouldn't have stopped to have chats and cups of tea along the way, but then again, I had fun, I did more than I'd aimed for, and Jo didn't pass me (even if she was a lap in front haha).
Glad it didn't rain until the end.
Thought it was a brilliant turnout for first event, with awesome racing between Liam and Taylor in the little 'uns.
Congrats to everyone who helped out, the sponsors and those who entered.

Can anyone tell me how 'advanced' the track will be? Like, in Sandpit terms, what kind of trails will it be comparable to? (little bit scared, never raced before )

track will be easy- no big up or down hills- it will also be flowing to try and stop bottlenecks- give it a go you will love it.

Yep I saw that bit too........ and am relieved too, I farkn hate downhills, freeze up n go all girly, literally have to talk myself into it
come on Sammikins, you can do it mate :Punk: you'll be nervous n mite even have a bad guts before you do it, but you can go at your own pace, maybe buddy up with someone your familiar with who rides similarly to yourself and ride it together. After you've 'been there done that' your confidance in yourself will soar. And you wont look back.

Worse thing is i find when i stop or slow down to think about things the longer i hesitate the harder it gets.
I don't think i'll be doing this one - not 100% no but most likely not. John's away then, gotta sort somewhere for the kids to go & Atlanta has a party the next day so need Brooklyn looked after then...
Excuses excuses i know but think this year it'll be all a bit hard.
