On the 31st august Wanganui Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club will be holding their annual charity ride.All funds raised will go the Wanganui Cancer Society to support children with cancer.The cost is $15.00 per bike,registration is from 9-30am with the ride leaving Caltex Victoria Ave at around 10-30am and heading to the Royal Hotel at Ohingaiti.There will be lunch provided at the pub with a small auction of donated goods to follow.

Hey Charlie.You doing the ride this year.We,ve changed the format slightly,just a smaller version of the auction.Hope we get a good turnout.Cheers

sadly, couldnt attend this year. got laid off from my job on friday and couldnt afford to go. went down and yakked with friends though, and watched them all leave. one point... car control needed to be better at the tail end. quite a few cars got in and stuffed up the riders, separating the group quite badly.
hope the day went well, and you raised heaps!

Yeah i heard that today,something for us to look at next year.Cant give amount till the final count but we kicked arse on previous years thats for sure.

Hi there all. Went on this ride, This was the frist organised ride I,ve been on. I thought it was very well organised and run. I had a great time and hope to do it again if its a yearly event.

We 109 bikes registered but i think we can do better if we fine tune the advertising.Thanks for the feed back.

Just to let you know,we raised $4000.00 for Wanganui Cancer Children last weekend on our charity ride.Thanks again to those who gave us their support.Cheers.

saw that in todays rag. well done on that! hopefully ill be able to attend next year. everything just hit the fan all at once this time. i took a video of the ride out which ill try and get onto youtube at some stage. very impressive as always... nice to actually watch it rather than be in it for a change.
