My back tyre is getting very squared off, seems a real waste of rubber. Bike is gsx1100g ( shaft drive ). I wonder if some thrillseeker might make better use of the tyre for the rest of its life by wearing out the outer 3/4's faster than the rest of the middle?? (Metlzer MZ4)

You know zooter, it sounds like you desperately need to get out on a kiwibiker ride...

Don't nail it on the straights...
Get a dual compound...
No more ideas.
Even I wear more than the middle. (just)

Ditch it, get rid of it, abandon it, fit a new tyre and revel in the handling a new tyre brings, old square tyres are dangerous and make you think you bikes handling and suspension is shot.
Take it from me, fitting a new tyre will make your bike more responsive and handle better, do it and you'll be convinced!! :ride:
Don't do it and you will have a poor handling and dangerous missile. :shit:

Had my new tyre put on yesterday. Makes a big change from the square model I had before.
You just need to find a loving corner freak for that tyre. Hey Stonechucker, you have the right sort of bike :shifty:
