Hi hoping some one can help me. Have a '90 GSX 750f apparently same as a 750 Katana. Has been farting through the left pipe, so I took of the shit you have to, to get at the plugs, pulled them, cleaned them and as I was reinstalling noticed a discrepancy with the carbs. They are Mikuni BST36SS and have a plastic top cover. At the front of this cover is a small tube projecting upwards, and on three of the carbs this tube is covered by a rubber cap, except for the left hand carb for no 1 pot, this tube is uncapped. Is this tube also meant to be capped, and if so would this be causing the farting??? Hope some one can help here as the manual is as useful as a one legged man at a kicking contest.

Cheers
Rik
