BEARs Sound of Thunder 2005 26th & 27th Febuary
Open Practice Friday 25th

Entires available from Sound of Thunder Secretary
PO Box 22 329
Christchurch
Ph (03) 329 8470

For a $90 entry fee you get two days of racing as well as open practice for $10 on the Friday and you can cross enter as many classes as you're eligible for with no extra cost

They put on a bloody fantastic feed afterwards for the competitiors and pit crews as well and it would have to be the best event I have attended and raced at yet

I've put all the class info on the calendar, any other enquires ring the Race Secretary

Day licences will be available and a clubmans class will be run for those who don't wish to take it to seriously

I'll be out trying my luck again on the F3 Ducati and hoping it actually lasts a full meeting without something breaking as it usually seems to

Hope to see a few of you there!

Nah, come down to this. Alot better value than a street race.

I'll be there, not riding anything though.

But you cant beat the crowd of a street race!
I loved it at Wanganui!

Would love to come down again BUT it's the same w/end as the Nationals at Manfeild, so will unfortunately flag the SOT. It's a great meeting, well worth going to.

Streetracing without a doubt is a bigger thrill, getting close to the kerbs and bales, but value for money this is the best event to do

On your 900 you can run F1,F2 if you're running treaded tyres you can also run Superstock

You get a full days practice on Friday for $10 and you'll get between 9-12 races over two days depending on what classes you enter and it's the week after Paeroa so you may as well do both!
