After trying to decipher the internet info I still can't figure out what time they start (N.Z time) and on what channel

it starts at 8:08pm 8/8/08 china time which makes it 12:08am 9/8/08

When I say bit of swimming I mean the last lap of Hackett's race and an eye over the medal tally.

The opening ceromony might be worth watching. It'll be spectacular that's for sure. Not to sure if I will watch or not. The Chinese are going to win most. Will be interesting who gets caught cheating. I'm picking someone from Taiwan but that's just a cynical guess.
