Testing crank shaft pic-up

Hi there, does anyone have the ohms range for testing crank shaft pic-up on a '88 GSX-R 250? Should be in service manual if anyone has one.

I'm not familiar with the particular bike, but a probe made from a 1000 ohm resistor and an LED will generally show most crank pickups.

12v----------1000ohm----led-------pickup-----gnd
