LTNZ + Transit are now merged. The single entity is now NZ Transport Agency.
What will this mean to us?

If we are lucky - 1/2 of them will be made redundant due to all the double up of positions.

But that wont happen will it. They will have even more time on their hands to come up with stupid laws and campaigns.

It's true, my daughter is a receptionist there.
Major task for the week - throw away all the letter head paper, organise new business cards, get the phone book entries changed, etc.
Plus they have just spent a shit load of money moving to new premises

Mmm, I just got a change of ownership receipt letter a week or so ago, with all of this guff.

One thing that would be lovely is that Transit now pulls their finger out and lets us use motorway bus lanes, like LTNZ was letting us do everywhere else. Won't hold my breath though.
