Bmw tour companies?

I have some American friends who will be here in summer and who wish to take part in a BMW tour group on a ride around New Zealand.

Does anyone have any advice as to which companies to use, or good/bad experiences to share?

Hire bikes and give them a map. Cheaper than organised tours.
