As per 2 years ago Meanie and I (and a few hanger-ons) will be hitting Northland as part of the 4 points rally.

We are planning to be in Houhoura on the night of the 25th oct. (which should be Labour weekend)

Anyone planning anything in that part of the world about then?

Will have to keep an eye on this thread we might tag along from Auckland if we are allowed. Oh and if you need beds in Auckland we have a couple spare if so give us a yell.

thanks for the offer but accomodation is sorted for the 5 days.

Be good to have a bit of a following north of auckland. Will be a nonstop trip to houhora (much unlike our reputation has lead us to) I am pretty sure last time we refueled in Whangarei and Kaitaia.

on the up side, I was talking to a guy in the know today and he seems to think fuel will be ~$1.50 per litre by xmas 08.

I really hope he is right.
