Hoping someone here will know the trick to getting one of these buggers out...
It is the part which sits between the shock linkage and the frame on the klr, a huge axle runs through it and locks both footpegs on, i've got the axle out, but cant remove it, as it goes into the frame and into the linkage, with the collared end up against the linkage. Presumably, to remove it, i must push it into the frame, remove the linkage, then move it out the other way... any thoughts on how i could achieve this?

If it's anything like the one on the KLR650, I had to loosen engine out bolts as well before I could remove the linkage.
I used this for reference:

good guide, he stops one step short though! He removes the bolt which he finds is rusted, but doesnt seperate the linkage from the frame, only greasing the bolt then reinstalling
