So are there any suppliers here or can somone reccomend where I can get a pair of cordura pants from, the catch is they have to be generous in size the bigger the better. I have thighs the size of tree trunks :gob:

Best riding gear available IMHO comes from www.aerostich.com. Serious riding gear and they'll make everything custom fit to your body. They aren't cheap, but the gear isn't either. If nothing else, check out their website and get on their mailing list. Their catalogue is almost 300 pages. Great reading.
I have a hi viz Roadcrafter suit that has served me well for many years. Well worth the investment.

Its a Wellington based shop, don't want to name it but it looks like TSS Cycles in the Hutt might come to the rescue, they are getting some for me to try .

Buy online. Less than 7 days fedex from the States. Just use NZ shops for sizing!! Fuck them and their 300% mark up. Got boots a month ago for $126 landed, they were $480 here.

shops usually wait cos they want to collect more orders before they order as they have more bargaining power with their overseas supplier.. plus it'll be more cost effective for their shipping fees.. that means more $$ for them and fuk all for you.. so just order it online yourself i reckon. you bear the cost of shipping, but you dont have to wait for anyone

Ah, another local distributor success storey.
Never mind, I'm sure they offered to air freight them in (at their cost) to atone for the inconvenience and incompetence.
Go local distributors!!

Update:
The store I was getting the pants through got in some more styles for me to try, I also had a back up plan and phoned another store who also got pants in for me. I went into the Wellington store that and tried on the pants  sadly they were all ill fitting for one reason or another. I asked what happened with the pants I was waiting for, it the was suppliers fault for not ordering them from the manufacturer, it was NOT the shops fault. I feel I should name the shop so that there no speculation as they tried everything they could to get me pants, they were always happy when I phoned and went in time after time to try on another pair. They really did their best, the service for all my other gear was top notch. Motorad Wellington I take my helmet of to you A++ for effort.
Anyway for the happy ending TTS Motorcycles in Lower Hutt came up with the goods in two days and a discount to boot. TSS you have my utmost respect :first::2thumbsup:not:
