Sick of bad news? Sick of whingers? Sick of negative posts? Cool, here is a thread for happy people.
Had a good day? A good bonk? A financial windfall? A salary/wage increase?
Or; are you terminally happy? Just happy for the hell of it?
Let's hear some good news for a change. No b/s, no sarcasm, just happy stuff from happy people. If you're gonna take the piss, piss off to another thread, this is for happy posts only............
1) I had roast lamb for tea, now supping on a Jim, cruising with the missus, grouse afternoon weatherwise.
Who's got number 2?

Third day in new job after 5mths off work, first time commuting by bike to work. Even the rain couldn't dampen my spirits! Had a good ride in enjoying splitting the traffic and an even better ride home in fine weather! Chatted to another biker as was leaving work, guy on a GB400.
Got home to find the Missus in the spa...

What a good idea, much prefer happy positive stories than a bunch of moaning about shit that nobody is prepared to get off their arse and fix!
Hey, life's usually pretty good, why complain about the little things?
Anyway..... so what am I happy about today?
I finished an assignment yesterday which I was happy about and today I had a funny feeling about one of the questions, so checked on the Webct on whether anyone else had any troubles with the question to find that others had and had asked the question I was wondering and the answers clarified that I needed to change my answers before I sent it off, tomorrow! So I am very pleased I followed my instincts and checked!! :sunny:

That's kinda what I was thinking. Cheers. Life in NZ is actually pretty cool. Sure you hear about how well miners do in Kalgoorlie (or wherever) but who TF would want to live there? We've copped some weather recently but it's not THAT bad, you can go get a big TV if that's what you want, a bike on HP FFS. Try that in deepest darkest Georgia at the mo; it's not gonna happen.

Just got home this morning after a ride to Tauranga monday without getting wet.
Caught up with an old family friend for a couple of nights & showed him the aviation museum for his first time.
Called at Bayride & enquired about an MV for sale in the region to be asked what parts I needed.
Got reminded of the pain of laughing on broken ribs without the pain (thanks Chris)
Ran out of gas outside a petrol station in Matamata (after finding the Tauriko station closed for maintenance) & pulled the clutch to coast to the pumps.
Put 29.0 litres in a 29 litre tank.
Decided on a night ride back from Hamilton after tea with No 1 son & got home after enduring one brief shower.
Parked the bike at home last night with the phone ringing to tell me my girlfriend was waiting up to see me.....

hmm must say after taking the horses covers off after 8 weeks of absolute crap weather & watching them go absolutely nuts, galloping. rearing, bucking with the mandatory farting & just enjoying the sun & freedom .. totally had me laughing at their antics at play .. could not get more purer emotion than that
has me smiling each time I think of it .. (must take camera next time)
