Damn, I'll be in Chch at the John Britten race meeting.

I know this is a silly question mangell6, but I guess you, Matthewt, Bugsplat et al will be doing it?

Say "hi" to my mate Mr Ham - he'll be on a black Speed Triple (he had a Transalp last time - he's one of the Transalp Twins)

Matthewt recognises that sacrifices must be made so is not attending, don't know about Bugsplat and I remember the 'TransAlp Twins'

It is a relatively easy ride and fun as well.

Might be able to swing it. If I pull this one off it'll be one of my finer (?!) moments.

Ahhh, the twins I have to thank for this photo from the last midnight 1000.

It is a good ride for those that are interested. Long enough but not to long.

All depends on work, etc...
1000km's is not all that bad. I did 1100 in one day, oh, was in the car but still...
I'm looking at doing the Dakar rally next year on the R1, whaddya all think?
