Sorry to hear that.

In Christchurch there is no wind, no cloud, and a strange bright ball in the sky that appears to be a source of heat.

I feel the need for a ride.......

I went for my first ride in three weeks. Had a new tyre to scrub in.
So from Albany to Riverhead/Coatsville hway, up Old North Road, down Peak Road and along hway 16 to Wellsford. Then back to Orewa via SH1, through Orewa to Silverdale and took the back way to Albany again. Weather was sunny although a little gusty. Tyre is nicely scrubed in now.

Hey Arj, if a motard passed you and then turned down Woodcocks Rd, that was me! Not a bad day in the end. Just two 5min blasts of rain, but a little cold.

My bike has been my only form of transport for about a year now. I have been riding everyday across the bridge throughout this winter.......... the only time I had to catch the bus was when we had that god almighty weather bomb a few weeks back with wind gusts of over 120 kph in exposed places. Thought I better not risk it that day. Even today was a little hairy.

Frequent showers with hail for good measure here in the 'Naki. Good chance to get the inside projects finished so it's off round the mountain for a coffee tomorrow :scooter:

Weird. I must have passed some other SV1000 that was weaving back and forth like he was trying to scrub in some new tyres!

Big weekend for new tyres on Zooks up sh16 I guess!
