INDOOOR KARTING AUCKLAND RACEWAY 6.45 SATURDAY 6/9/2008
I'VE booked Auckland Raceway Far end of The Concourse in Henderson
for a bit of go kart action.
with the numbers we have sighned up its going to be a teams event 2 drivers per kart. FOLKS ITS NOW UP TO YOU LOT TO LET YOUR WALLETS DO THE TALKING AND DECIDE HOW LONG WE RACE FOR
We can do a 30 minute race for $45 per person -thats 15 minutes per driver
40 minurte for $55 per person-20 minutes a driver
One hour for $75 per person -30 minutes per driver

To give you an idea 30 minutes is going to be about 100 laps indoors

Gear wise I'd suggest bring your own helmet if ya dont want to wear a hair net thingee. otherwise just normal clothes are fine.
Anyone wanting to join me afterwards for a drink we will be going to THE HANGER which is about halfway down Central Park Drive Henderson (about 8.00-8.30) There is a dress code so a change of shirt and halfway decent trou might be in order

Map thingee

Me and Steve-O, dont think we will be going down to the Cold Kiwi now.

Im sure Speedy (if not on rostered shift) will have to come back to contend 'THE TITLE', cause the Qkkies kicked ass @ Silverdale in the last KB Kartfest.

Have you got an estimate on costs Frosty?

FROSTY
27th August 2008, 08:55
usuallly a squirt costs $45.00

I just got back from the Henderson Kart tracks with a few mates, was wicked fun.

Have a good time guys, you don't need to use the brakes.. drifting slows you down enough.

FROSTY
4th September 2008, 06:16
Guys n gals
Ok the actual racing should take about an hour and a half by the time we finish fluffing around.
The EXACT format for the night will be decided at 6.30 and is dictated by how many front to race.
6-10 -sprint races
12-20 teams relay race -2 drivers per team
20+ TEAMS RELAY 3 PER TEAM (longer race)

Afterwards yep we are heading to THE HANGER which is down Central Park Drive. There we can celebrate our great battles of the night.

I was really impressed by the standard of everybodys driving.
Only One driver was an idiot---the clown in Kart 15
and one driver needs to check for color blindness -er um dunno who though
For the record I crashed ONCE --totally self inflicted and fark it hurts --
