If anyone knows the bunch of riders coming over the maungatapu from Pelorus today (Sat 16th August) ask them why they wanted to take me out by cutting in on every corner:angry:

I didn't realise there was a contract out on my life. :blink:

Seriously though in the first bunch there was a kid following some adults cutting corners which wasn't a gd look especially if they hit me or the 4wd that went through before me. :done:

The dirt riders treat it as a one-way racetrack.

With the amount of traffic up there they'll come a cropper soon.

a cr250? and a xr400 with a funny paint job?

I went over to Pelorus about 1.30pm. There was a group of about 10 that left a bit earlier from the camp car park. I got back there about 4.30 and one of the more mature guys got back about 10mins later. He was a bit pissed with a couple of the young ones who were doing exactly as you said. He was going to have a quiet word in their ears!
Also, a couple of them arrived back soon after and got a bit heavy on the gas pass the camp.
The caretaker came down on his quad and bollocked all of us. Said he'd call the boys in blue if it happens again. Hope a couple of guys don't spoil it for the rest of us...............
BTW, enjoyed the blat over to Pelorus and back. Bloody cold though!

Yeah Thommo they be the ones I reckon. Egos & adrenaline I guess. i wonder what the locals think of bikes roaring past their houses? Must be used to it by now I guess...

Went over today at luchtime (tuesday - I love working for myself) & it was nice being a lot drier. New tyres are almost here:clap:
