Eddie Vedder (re: the song "Indifference").
"On average, we have maybe 60 to 70 years on the planet. And we probably have 20 years when we're a vital presence, when you can actually do something with your life. So what are you going to do with that time?
Are you gonna enjoy it, not get involved? Or are you gonna try and do something to make some other peoples' lives better than they are, even if it means going through hell? Even if those people don't even appreciate what you're trying to do. Even if you're not sure yourself that what you're doing is going to make any bit of difference."

Yes Motu. Your life so far has been worthless all for yourself.
It's just something to think about really.

I spent eleven years teaching primary school in mid Northland. In my classroom we had a ball - kids used to like coming to school 'cause we had such fun. Some of them even learned the odd thing along the way....I think....In the thirty years since then I have met the odd parent of past pupils and a couple of pupils themselves. They have all said how memorable those years were.......which makes me think that, just maybe, I did do something useful here......course, since then, I have just slobbed around eating, drinking, riding motorbikes and making merry whilst pretending to earn my keep........but not to worry, I will be dead soon enough...

That's actually a mess of bullshit.
What eddie - bless him - hasn't understood is that you might sadly lose your dunk, but the 3 pointer gets more and more killer the longer you keep jacking it up.

3 point % wins more games than dunks.

I believe it's also important to have one pistol in each hand and cross your forearms perpendicularly while firing.

I wouldn't like to think my tax dollars were being wasted.

VERY hard to synchronise firing two pistols at once.

The sideways firing? - I'm not black enough to be able to do that properly....

Oh, you need full-autos, natch.

I'm guessing that a petition to make the Glock 18 the standard Police sidearm would get a fair amount of support from within the force...

how do they not have a spent cartridge ejecting and burning their feet? Ouchies!

Also, the pistol grip pump action shotgun with 14 inch barrel has a lot going for it. Just saying.

They're always running as they fire, silly.
