Don't you just love it when you find a certain piece of music you've been after for months or years?! be it on CD, LP or Digital.

Just found me some!

actually it's the Opening credits music to 'Top Gun'. The really mellow synth version of the anthem.

f-ing mint.

Been looking for a New Zealand track from the late 70's for a few years without success.

A Hamilton pub band called "The Spacers" had a hit with "Got Me At A Disadvantage".

They used to play at the Hilly in Hamilton and tour around NZ.

They played regular gigs at the Cabana in Napier and the Mayfair in Hastings.

Plenty of people remember it but no one seems to have a copy.

You know, I watched Top Gun again the other day.

Scary to say,

a) it wasn't that bad, and
b) I could remember nearly every line.

*sigh*

And my nine-year-old loved the movie.

.

Terrifying actually.
You need time in the room full of mirrors and a long hard look at yourself.

I vageuly recall a song from years ago (maybe late 80's, probably 90's) which I'm pretty sure was called "Huntly Sucks". Strangely enough ti was abuot the town of Huntly and how much it sucked.. I really want a copy of it but its hard to find when you dont even know the bandname and arnt 100% on the song name lol.

A bit of trivia...that theme toon was used on the early 90's game Jetfighter 2. Kicked arse that did.

Great video too featuring Nemesis from 2000ad mags.
