Meh, it's to close to home, they all seem like my clients - 'cept they don't use the letter 'r' so much.

I bet ya never realised the word Wednesday had an 'r' in it??

Well it does down here.

seems to be an artistic interpretation of the age old phrase "what goes around comes around"

loretta feels hurt cause wolf wasnt there when she was growing up
Jethro is screwed over by wolf in episode 6 and has to leave town

paybacks a bitch aint it!

not bad morals for a kiwi story ;)

TBH I don't think Jethro got screwed over by wolf. Jethro stole the container, and was stupid enough to leave van and munter in charge of it. He wouldn't nark on van and munter, so the buck stopped with him when it came to nickys associates. He either left town or he was a dead man, and wolf was just trying to save his life.

Before I got Freeview 6 months ago I could not get Channel 3. So I had never seen OF. I got series 1, 2 and 3 on DVD. Me and my oldest watched them all inside 7 nights...nonstop. Not much sleeping there.

Now I am a big fan of series 4. And there is already a series 5 being filmed.

Clearly best thing ever made for TV in NZ. And them winning heaps of the TV awards proves the point.

I am proud to have been a westie long before the T-shirt was made.

Oh my god,

Who else is obsessed by this programme, I haven't watched anything so avidly since Cold Feet in England many years ago.

I hang out for Tuesday's and almost wish it was on earlier, and for longer.

I love all the characters. My mate;s a lightening geezer for the set, so hung out with Robin, Van, and has been Gary last year, that was fun.

I wonder what Tuesday nights will be like when its not on any more. When I went back for my yearly trip back to the UK this year, O.F. had been on for 3 weeks by the time I got back so got my mate IDB to tape it in my absense.

What a cool and groovy programme.

I reckon the big thing will be to find out that Sherrie, and Nicky are in fact an intem and not the bro and sis they make out to be, but I said that weeks ago.

Anyway thats my thoughts for the day.....

Woodybee,

Yep, I'm with you on that - it's got everything drama, sex, violence, drugs, cars, bikes, booze, loose wimmin, comedy the list goes on.... brilliant TV, it's like a diamond resting in a big pile of shite (well, the vast majority of other TV)

Woodybee,
If you feel you can't live without a weekly dose of mind numbing crap try Corofuckingboring Street that should do it for ya!!!! Now it's on 3 nights a week because the TV programers think that we are all fucking constipated morons out here in TV viewing land and we need a 3 nights a week suppository of that shit making program.
Whewww! that's better. Just like taking a good dump. Make Ya feel real good afterwards.!!!!!

The Green wing Christmas Special (1 1/2 hours) is well overdue for being screened in NZ. Got a download of it (and both series) which starts with a funeral..... but who's?
Both brilliant series :first: as opposed most of the shite we get dished up on TV:yawn:

Never seen it. Now I never will, because that woman off it is plugging the Green party.

Celebrities that think they have some right to tell me how to vote, or to spend my money on African orphans lose me from their audience instantly.

Ok, I still listen to the Boomtown Rats' Fine Art of Surfacing, but that's it - exception that proves the rule etc.

Never stopped being one - ya can borrow my black jeans (well OK, only one or two pairs).

But O.F. is....mmm... too clean and tidy compared with the white-trash bogan 'families' I mostly deal with.

TV3 is starting over with Outrageous Fortune Series 1, Episode 1 screening at 9.30 tonight (Thursday 16th October), so those that only got hooked on it within the last season or two (like yours truly) can see how the story began :Punk:

And for those that are overseas or just can't catch it then, TV3 seem to be streaming video of many programmes for 7 days after they screen by accessing their website. The season finalé the other night had an announcement following it to that effect so possibly this series too??
