LOL... that would be classic!!! The sub in my subaru doesnt seem to be working at the mo but if it was... I can see it now in the Howick-Pakuranga Times. Right next to the lady who doesn't like the new wheelie rubbish bins. Such a fine example of poor journalism... :yawn:

I wouldn't be too soft on the mothers. They are the first to complain when the neighbours make too much noise for their kiddies at bedtime. (and I am not entirely unsympathetic on this ) I was on a kindergarten committe years back and noisy neighbours was usually the first 'unofficial' (gossip) item on the agenda along with daylight saving etc. We had a bit of a doo for the kiddies one afternoon and there was a complaint about the noise from a shift worker One of the neighbours came over and asked me to turn the noise down so I did. Two minutes later it was turned up again louder. I tried to explain to the mother but there was more sense in a worm For the next week he made life a absolute misery for some mothers. Parked is car so some could not get out, chainsaw all day etc. I ran into him a few years later at a school doo he was pissed off on more than one occasion with the stereo of the kindergarten.

The bottom line on this is that most mothers, 'when if a group' don't give a toss about anyone else but themselves. I'm picking Jafa probley tried to get the noise down but got nowhere.
