Getting leathers fixed?

Hi Guys can any of you recomend a good place to take my one peice to to get patched up and re-stitched, within the auckland reigon.

Rather take quality over price, but if quality comes cheap, it's all good.

I haven't yet had to have gear fixed, but I know Red Baron send gear to Motorycycle Safety Wear, and I've heard several people here mention sending gear to Kerrie at MSW, so I'm guessing they're good.

[edit, actually, I did have to have a zip replaced under warranty on my pants. Red Baron sent it to MSW and it came back better than new (better quality zip). I'm guessing they do a good job of fixing leathers too.)

Yeh bruce, I've heard good things from the place erik mentioned. They mention a same day service for urgent jobs too :scooter: How's dem bones? :crazy:

Yep Kerry is the gal!! I've spent close to the price of my leathers again for the numerous repairs she's done for me.

Top job too but be prepared a lecture on the quality of your suit (yours is a spool so you might be alright).

That lady on K' Road.. cant remember her details and I'm at work.. someone here will know who i mean.
She makes custom leathers for race guys and does awesome repairs.
Will check up on it at home

Yes, that's MSW as Erik mentioned above (St Kevin's arcade is on K' Rd). That would be my 1st stop also, she does very good work and comes highly recommended. She also works alternate Saturdays if you can't drop things off during the week.

I've had numerous repairs to my Teknic jacket (it's now a mutant), my leather pants, and the vifferbabe's leathers. I've had armour installed, zips replaced, zip sliders replaced, stitching repaired, alterations made, a zip attached to zip my jacket and pants together, and I've been 100% happy with all of it.

Only trouble is, Kerrie nowthinx I'm a serial crasher :confused: , and greets me with, "What have you done THIS TIME??!?", instead of, "Hello there - nice to see you again!" :(

It's not my fault, I tellsya - the road attacked me once or twice is all.
And my pants zip broke on Tuesday coz of my mighty prong, not a prang.
