Well what a good look to the day turn up and see the sun appearing was thinking you beuty,

This round I would be back on the 125 again as well as the SV650 so was preparign for a day of fun,

SV was allready on wets so took a gamble on them and left the bike on wets were as the 125 was on slicks so left it on them and just put tire warmers on.

Weather slowly started packing in and knew I would only get one chance to ride on the slicks so better do it now.

125 GP qualifying:

Well get on the bike and first thought was how small are these things was just not used to the bike at all and would be told once I got out for Qualifying.
Onto the track i went did not feel comfartable and circulated around building my confidence on the bike.
so qualified 5th on the grid.

I came back into pits rather happy with how I got on and couldnt wait to get on the beast.

Quick change over with transponders and out I went back onto the mighty SV

Pro Twins Superlite Qual:

Out onto track first thouhgt wow comfort again,! only got to turn 2 and forgot I wasnt riding 2 stroke and it was raining hard by this stage and downshifted way to hard and locked the back wheel getting my first ever mean slide on the sv was wicked and fully controlled it.
Red flag came out and in we went as the Officials did a check of bikes to make sure noone was running slicks.

Back out and I ended up getting out onto track about 4th so followed Deano around who actually pulled me quite far up the field in the terms of lap times and managed to qualify 13th of of 38 bikes so was rather impressed with myself and thats my best ever qualifying session.

back into pits again and once again transponder swap and back on the 125

125 GP race 1:

Well first thing I noticed was the temperature on the bike was way to low running at 40 degrees, I still decided t race seeing my brother go into pit lane for tape, Lights all go up pick the revs up slip the clutch away we go and I didnt bog it witch really surprised me.
Into turn 1 chasing both moto Academy bikes sam and Kyle,
Didnt last for long and just got into my own rythemm rain soaking down and out onto back section can hardly see a thing out here yet Im knee downing it which I was stoked about...
I see william leaving pit lane again as he had been in again for more tape thinking im gonna pass him i start catching then he starts pulling away from me, End up finishing the race 2nd to last but was happy and hadfun which I intnded to do on that bike.
Popped a couple of wheelies was wicked.

Had a chat to Robert Taylor and we measured bike sags on SV as we were waiting for our first race but the weahter packed in to much and the meeting was called a day.

was kinda happy in a way so i could put some nice warm clothes on but now the die out my leathers and gloves has absorbed in my skin and im a human grape all purple:doh:

Cheers to my parents and Daniel

Good effort Ivan. It must be hard to go between the 125 and the SV 650 .
Yer the rain came down but that's why they call it the "Winter Series " lol

Yeah it is,
For the share fact the 125 is 70kgs no power until 10,000RPM and corners really really fast but has no straight line speed,

And the SV is 140kgs or something and has a very very smooth power spread developing from 500RPM right through until Rev Limiter, (which I have only hit twice)
and the SV is very very stable under brakes compared to the 125 to be honest but you scrub alot of entry speed off on it and mainly work on getting a good mid to outa corner speed,

so you have to adapt to changing riding styles completly

Especially out of the long left hander from new circuit to old the sv exits there and runs straight ahead for dunlop sweeper
Were as the 125 you actually keep that corner as a left then turn it into a right.

it was alot of fun and made for some serious rider thinking which really really made me more confident in myself as a rider
