You reap what you sow.

The Chechen, Liithuanian, and Ukranian people are still paying for what they did to Russians in WWII. A lot of them did it wearing Wermacht and SS uniforms.

A lot more Russians lost family (or whole families, villages, towns, cities) members to "German" forces than Germans did to Russians post WWII and in as horrific circumstances.

A gentleman and an officer. His leadership in Russian prison camps, after the war, was... interesting.
A wonderful wife.
