Well today at last I took my wooly hat off in the yard at Carters in Queenstown, yup its the first time since it started getting cold, and the bike went away for a rest.
God I have really missed getting on my bike, I am a true summer chick, wish I could win the lotto just to be able to buy a house in the UK for the Summer, then here and Oz for the Summer, so have a back to back summer, blissful.
Honestly you can stick this white stuff, soon as I have thrown a (several thousand!!!:laugh: snowballs, and built a snowman, then I'm bored of it.
It gets mushy, causes lots of folk to slip over crash their cars, and looks unsightly.
Its almost as if the heavens upstairs flick the v's when it dumps, as if to say, hey look at this beautiful snowy wonderous fluffy stuff, before it turns into slush.
But hey I guess that's all the more reasons to appreciate the summer I guess.
Took a bit of time to start Tex, a few days ago, I don't think he appreciated me dumping him in a mates garage, while I went overseas, before the search and rescue a month later.....he dumped a load of fuel on the floor, then chocked a bit, but once I sat on him, whispered sweet nothing towards the engine, and prayed he lept into life!
Stuck a couple of Ace Cafe London stickers on his bodywork, so even moe stickers ow......(must stop doing that)
Well thats the last you will see me at the Rallies, coz I have decided not to make them this year............so adios enjoy all, and have fun.........
Yours Woodybee:niceone:

All this "global warming" (Tui?) is really kicking in...
A decent winter will hopefully bode well for a decent summer.:first:
I might have to put some long pants on if winter finally arrives up here.

Hey I know Qtown is the place for snow......doh, I was just saying really that I missed the hot stuff, and the bike, and feels like I have gone cold turkey from being able to ride it..........................I have ridden in ice and really crap weather in the land of blight whenI lived there, and have to be honest, didn't dig it that much, so I am a fair weather rider.
I have had just the best time the last couple of years on my Bonny, that I have missed getting on it.
Surely, other folk feel this way, chomping at the bit for the lovely feeling when the sun is out, and your'e bombing along on your bike.?

Yep. Ready for summer here too.
I've ridden nearly every day of the winter. And nearly every day it has rained on me. Bike is grubby, gear is permanently damp, I'm bored.
I'm ready to bring out the light summer jacket (with just a singlet underneath), the draggin jeans and the summer gloves. :woohoo:
I'm ready to just jump on the bike and go, instead of putting on layers of warm stuff & wet weather gear.
I WANT SUNSHINE!

:Oi: :bleh:
I knew that other folk would be getting fed up with the winter, so ta guys and dolls for your words, anf for those of you who thinks winter is lovely, then I echo what you said, why don;t you go and live in the antartic with the penguins, if you like it so much, I personally feel and inwards glow when the suns out rather than shivering my tits off, with multiple layers of clothing on...call me weird but thats just how I feel.:rolleyes:
Great with the change of seasons though, as it brings on changes, I have started runnin, which I have to admit I totally loathe!!!! well, as of as thinking of doing the Mototaupo, so thought I'd get myself fit for it, and by fuck my legs are killing me.......:apumpin:, why does it hurt to get fit..........
And another reason I can't wait for summer is so that I can get my very newly acquired ugly fish sunnies out:cool:
I bought some waterproof spray the other day,so sprayed everthing from my boots to clothing to tent, to next doors cat..... Puddy tat will thank me when its hosin down I'm sure, rolled on its back and started licking its paws and fur, an I'm sure it growled at me!!!!
So again I say bring on the summer, make it a heatwave, and fill Woodybee with light and happiness once again.......no wonder animals frigging hibernate.....perhaps I should try that eh.
Anway thats all for now:headbang: Rallies Rallies Rallies oi oi oi.....

Now now Woodybee... I havent seen anybody in this thread poopoo you... I think we are all looking forward to Summer and the easy fun riding to be had.
I just made an observation that for someone who implied in her first post that she hates the white stuff that Queenstown was an odd place to choose to live. No poopoo for you in saying that :)
