Scumdog hits Porirua

Here's the proof.

After being alerted by sels1 that scumdog was going to be in Porirua we agreed we would meet for a drink and some food at the Sandbar pub in Mana. A few of us said we could be there at the prearranged 6.30pm while others said they had a meeting first and would appear later.

I of course am alway armed with the camera in my pocket, and while not the flashest of photos, here's a record of the event. There were no fights, drunken people lying on the floor, or any other wild biker type happenings before I took Mrs merv away to do her prep for work the next day. Just hope the rest of you behaved after we left and you didn't raise too much hell at my local.

Spot who turned up. I think I only managed to miss Riffer in these pics who came for a while and then left before we adjourned for food.

Gee you were quick checking out this thread, before I'd finished the photos even.

Missing in action were our top chicks Str8 Jacket and Trudes, but in attendance that I remember were Scumdog, sels1, Riffer, Wayne708, Gareth51, merv, Mrs merv, Col, Jimbo600, Hawkeye, Grub, Skunk, AJturbo, Freebird and Mrs Freebird. Hey did I miss anyone? If so let me know and I'll update the list.

As usual with KiwiBiker a quick post to say a stranger will be in town and enough of the locals will turn up to make sure you don't drink alone. Or, is that more out of curiosity to meet the legendary "southern man".

Thanks to Sels1 for arranging this get-together in such short notice and another big thanks to all who got there on such a crappy night, hell Riffer looked like a diver fresh from the sea when he walked in dripping water everywhere! (A perk you get when riding instead of driving)

I won't name everbody who turned up, I might leave somebody out because it was like a revolving door meeting, people were arriving, staying for a bit then leaving - just as others got there etc. BUT I would like to thank everybody for the hospitality, friendship and generosity, I was kinda overwhelmed by it all, you're a great bunch - and it was only later I suddenly had the thought "Shit, I can't remember if I ever had to buy my own drink"!

And I was picked up and dropped off with no worries at all

So top marks to you all and to use the awful cliche: "You're all awesome":Punk:

PS: I would have liked to have had longer with everybody but being a week-night we all had to face the next day at work.
