Just got my leathers fixed after my wee off at levels.

had ripped the stitching away from the leg and a couple of other areas.

All fixed quality double stitching everywhere $25 but i gave him $30 anyway.

Sorry to hear of your off- hope you are okay.

I hope I don't need leather repairs any time soon, but thanks for the tip. Sounds like good value.

Excellent. I've never been on a motard, but watching them race is great! There were heaps at Burt Munro last year. Maybe you were one?

Great, I'll be there, too. Purely as a spectator.

Thanks again for the tip. Better stay on topic so as not to upset anyone, eh?

Ha Ha Ha - motarding and then getting your leathers fixed are very closely related topics. Especially for some eh!!!

Don't worry about Hayden aka Scorry - I've seen him bounce around in front of me three times already this year now and he's pretty resiliant, as are the motard bikes. He is a damn sight easier to pass when he is on the ground too!

I'm not saying anything....

I want to but I'm too polite!

Perhaps somebody else has something to say?

Anybody done anything lately? Maybe something requiring leather repair?

Amazing what you can do with a roll of duct tape.

Is that a wee dig i feel there Gaz?

My leathers rental system works fine.

I take them back on mondays and then pay to use them over the weekend lol
or i take them in to get fixed again and then get them back for the weekends

They sure do save my ass tho, quite literally this time

And the duct tape held for the last couple of runs, i didnt want to fall off again cos i dont think it would be that good sliding down the road.

Cant believe im not sore at all, maybe im getting used to it?

Actually no - however i did find that display a good reminder that when its bravado over skill, it's skill keeps you in one piece.
It was a smart arsed dig at Hayden (Scorrie) as he is getting too damn quick now and i can't get anywhere near him anymore. He does push the tyres to the limit though and hopefully now he knows the limits will keep within them for a while! Its fun to laugh about bins afterwards but not fun to see them and we all looked a bit nervous before he leapt up again to jump on his bike and finish the run. I understand that the timer was kept running, so at least I beat him once on Sunday!

yeah the clock was still runnning, my fastest time was a 77.6 i think, i got a 91 something when i came off, so not too bad really considering how far i had to walk to get my bike lol
glad i can keep everyone entertained, even the leather repair man had a wee chuckle when i dropped them off to be fixed again.
