Is your bike road legal, or does it have to be strictly off road? Some of the Nelson crew are having a poke around the gravel tracks over this way this weekend.
Alternatively you could wander down to Patriarch and do Onamalutu on the way.
The road to Patriarch is a piece of piss, just go as far as you can til you hit the snow.:2thumbsup

Wish I was going down for the racing :(
My little XR hasn't seen a track since the Hinetai racing over in Tapawera.

XR's are choice bikes
My 2nd bike was a 1980 xr200 an it was a weapon an my 3rd bike was a 1997 xr200r which i raced in MotoX events... it never died (apart from the drum brakes...)!!

I found out the 1st round of the Cross Country 2hour series is on this Sunday (31/8/08) at Speeds Road, Para (on way to Picton)
mite be some fun... i don't know tho cauz i never done a enduro type event before...

Heaps of fun; I raced all three rounds of this series last year and loved every minute of it, even when I was riding like shite - which happened more often than I would like.

Faster?

I did the first round last year and it was dry enough that you didn't lap me :D

Some of those downhill sections shook my poor arms about a bit though.
