Was silly and went to work today.
The knee was still sore, but I was still able to walk on it. (just)
Through the day, It went from sore, to pins and needles, to sore, then late afternoon it went numb!!

Now correct me if im wrong..
But they are not meant to do that are they?

A few years ago, I had a hockey ball go into the side of it, and twist the knee cap 90' round the other side of my knee.
I think it might be time to have it checked again.
Dont you?

Go immediately to the Doctor's..... and get it checked out...

Go on.... off ya go.... NOW.... go on.... git going.... and when you get back you can tell us what the doctor/hospital said is wrong with it..

It may only be something simple like a pinched nerve or it could be something worse..... so unless you get a doctor to check it out, you won't know...

So hurry up and get off the computer chair and get off to the doctor's...

yeh get it checked, so a doc can say, "Yep that wont work"
.....
....oh ps: welcome to the fucked legs club, and its better to feel nothing rather than the pain my friend.
Your knees are like tyres, when they have blown them you basically need to get a new one.
Your shins are like forks, once bent they never become straight again.
Your feet are like wheels, untill you brake them in two pieces (or more), you still can get home.
My experience anyhow

You drongo!! You know you gotta get it checked out silly. Typical male bla bla bla etc. You're lucky you don't live in Auckland or I'd be coming round and sticking big needles into you! :doctor:

Try resting and elevating your knee.

It happened to me once after I came off my bike and severely bruised my arm. I started using it to soon and the area around my elbow swelled, got sore, had pins and needles and then my whole arm went numb. After two hours waiting at the hospital they told me to rest it for a week and put it in a sling. Basically the swelling pressed on the nerve making my arm numb.

Sounds like pinched nerve somewhere alright and do what the others say get it checked. Chances are the doc will say yeah that's what it is, now pay your money and go away and wait until it comes right as there isn't much else thay can do for you.

Yay, another knee person (Not that its a good thing)

That exact same thing happened to me when I hurt my knee in the army. I didnt get it checked for 3 weeks and found that 3 operations were in order with another due this year. The accident happend 3 years ago now.

Get it checked or the evil leprachauns will visit you in your slepp, sodomize you and put the video on the internet. Oh yea, and if you dont get it checked, the swelling will eventually get to your brain, scramble it, and you will end up like me.

You dont want that do you?? :)

Yup. What they all said.

Get it checked.

I can thoroughly recommend a knee reconstruction if you want to experience extreme pain.

However, since your knee's swollen its possible its cutting off either the blood flow, or the lymphatic system, or squeezing a nerve (not that I'm a doctor).

Either way, not good for long term knee stability. :bash:

Go see the doc ya silly bugger. ACC will pay most of the bill.
