Donnie Brasco is a good movie, but for some reason I don't think it is a great movie...... apart from Pacino's excellent portrayal of a loser...... quite different from his usual roles.

One of my favs would have to be Casino, although I have to confess I've never seen God Father - I know I should whacked for that!

But IMO the best has to be "A clockwork orange" Although it could be debated it's not really a gangster movie, failing that "The Warriors"
Both are classics.

Sorry a typo there - there wasn't a gangster of lesbians but there are lesbians. 1 of my old flatmates swore it was her fav movie too.

...Well yes Bound is incredibly good, and Jennifer Tilly plays the mafia "Girl" really well. But I think if you're wanting to watch a gangsta movie....Oscar (Sly Stallone) and Ali G are good picks. :yes:

define gangster? Its prety broad term... Classic italian mafia? african amaerican gangsters? or what?


All those are good but i also have to mention 2 hands/chopper for some oz flavour :)
