Went into pak n save today, and when i came out rear tyre was flat! Bugger. Walked it down to the servo and pumped it up, and could hear the air slowly coming out, so took it to my mates place just 30 seconds up the road, and got a ride home!

So what now? It has spokes, so i assume a tube? Do i somehow get it to the bike shop, or a tyre shop?

I just got home now so will give the bike shop a ring in the morning anyway to see what they say, but what do people usually do?

Pump some air, drive to the workshop, change (or fix) the tyre, that it.

Personally, rear tyre, I just ride them home. But it's not an experience to everyone's taste.

Yep, you'll need a new tube , being spokey. can't get decent tyre patches any more. So, you can

Ride it on the flat tyre to a shop
Pull the wheel out and take it to a shop, then replace wheel
Buy a tube and fit it yourself
Trailer the bike to a shop.
