Supposedly most powerful single ever fitted to a production bike. I want it bad!

What's the difference between the 690SM, the 690SM Prestige, and the 690SM R? Even the factory documentation only seem to suggest that the 690SM Prestige (and R -- are they the same bike?) just have cast wheels instead of spoked ones. But they're $1000 more?

Something to hope for when I graduate and get a real job :D
