I got this...

Yamaha YZF R1

You scored 8 moxie, 12 zeal, and 4 pomp!

Yamaha YZF R1
You're addicted to speed, but have the knowledge and experience to match. Although you like to win, you don't really care so much about competing with others as much as competing with yourself.

Your bike is the Yamaha YZF R1. Given how easily the rear wheel on this beast spins up coming out of turns, it is fortunate that you constantly work to improve your skills. (I've seen more R1s crash at track days than any other bike.)

It was a close decision with the Suzuki GSXR1000, but your personality seemed a bit more R1-ish. (But hey, I could be wrong. Its only a silly test.)

EDIT.
For those of you who do not understand the slang (me included) I googled the words.

Moxie = Skill and expirience
Zeal = Pasion, eagirness
Pomp = Looks, display show.

UPDATE

90s digged up a more detailed definition of Moxie, so here it is:

Definitions of moxie on the first page could emphasise the agressive, risk-taking, ballsy nature of the word though - skill is not a close association although it has this in relations specifically to baseball.

Urban dictionary does OK:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=moxy

but OED gives the full spectrum of meaning:
Courage, audacity, spirit; energy, vigour; enterprise; skill, shrewdness

Overall in terms of this quiz I think you can read it as "squidiousity & lawlessnessness" (like my new word?)

Well bugger me. It picked a Honda Hawk for me which I guess is pretty close to what I have. Summary:
-8 moxie
4 zeal
2 pomp.
Your interest in riding a motorcycle is purely practical - its cheap, easy to get through the city, and you can park anywhere. You are unlikely to ever ride anywhere except between home and work or school. In order to maximize the practicality of riding, you read the magazine reviews and choose a bland yet utterly reliable Honda, a sensible motorcycle for sensible people.
Close enough summary to be honest although I do ride a bit further afield than the summary suggests. And I did once read a magazine item that described my bike as "the blandest of bland bikes"

Aprilia RSV Mille
You scored 7 moxie, 4 zeal, and 6 pomp!

You're a fast and competent rider, but maybe not quite as good as you think you are. You've spent some big bucks on a sexy Aprilia, now go buy a beat-up Kawasaki EX500 as a track bike and get in some practice before you kill yourself.
Seriously. The Mille's power scares the crap out of you at times, and you mostly bought it because you wanted something more unusual than a Ducati. Its not comfortable, you're not having fun, and you're riding less than you did on your old bike. If you're not willing to put in some serious practice time, you should really get something a little less purposefully lethal
Love the bike but they said some very unkind things about me :crybaby:

What a crock!

All I will take out of my result is...You have the potential to be a great rider
Potential??....what is that?
A Real-Estate agent uses that term when they have house to sell that nobody really wants!!!....

Duc ST4

5 moxie, 10 zeal, and 8 pomp.

You love riding, simply for the sake of riding. On the way to work, you sometimes find yourself taking the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. Your mastery came about as a side effect from your love of the sport, although to be honest, you originally got into it because you thought a motorcycle would make you look cool.

You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as reasonably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Because you are a bit image-conscious and have a touch of ego, your bike is a Ducati. A practical Ducati, but a Ducati nonetheless.

I can handle that!

You have the traits of a sensible and effective rider, with an utter lack of concern for image, so you should feel comfortable riding a sensible, effective, and hideous bike like the VStrom.
You are the rider most likely to Rhino-Coat your bike for the sake of practicality.

You are a squid. Your bike is a 600cc Japanese Sportbike. Take your pick, it really doesn't matter, since you're going to wad it.

You are the primary source of extra bits of fairing plastic on eBay.

When you're riding in the mountains, you have a hard time keeping up with that Olde Pharte on a Triumph Thruxton without blowing the centerline in the twisties and going WFO on every straight. (You're not a bad rider, but you're just not as good as you think you are.)

On a hot day, you're likely to be seen weaving through highway traffic at warp speed, wearing sneakers and a t-shirt blowing up your back.

The good news for you is that this is a temporary phase in your riding career. You will either (a) buzzsplat or (b) become more acutely conscious of your own mortality after a few minor but eye-openingly lucky crashes.

Take it to the track. You'll live longer.:mad::mad::mad:

You'll live longer.

Harley 883 Sportster

2-2-2

You scored dead center average, lacking any of the personality quirks that normally drive people to motorcycling.
However, if you do ride, statistics would suggest that you are destined for a Harley-Davidson, probably something in the Softail line.

You might have noticed that's a lot of moolah for an (arguably) obsolete piece of machinery, and you're too rational and attitude-free to need the Biggest and Baddest that the marketeers tell you to buy. A far more reasonably priced taste of the Harley Kool-Aid is the 883 Sporty, a fun little beast that leaves you with plenty of cash to customize.

On the other hand, the only reason I'm bringing up the Harley-Davidson product line at all is due to the fact that Harley is the choice most people think of when they consider getting into motorcycling, and that's mostly because they don't know much about the alternatives.

Thought experiment: if you were the only person left on earth, and you could pick any motorcycle you wanted, what would you choose? Best looking or best engineered? Your test results don't really point in any direction strongly, so I'll try to nudge you towards substance over style.

Consider: a FXST Softail weighs 629lbs dry, the base version starts around $14k, and will make 75-80hp -- after you tweak it with pipes and a jet kit. A Buell XB12R weighs 395lbs dry, costs $10.5k and makes 103hp, stock. An Aprilia Tuono R weighs 417lbs, costs $12k, and makes 125hp, stock. (We won't even mention the bang for buck of the Japanese competitors.) Still a fan of retro-classic styling? Then at least consider Harley's V-Rod, which mixes in some modern engineering into the equation (596lbs, 125hp, $17k).

While the Sportster is a reasonable compromise, you may discover that you enjoy the added feedback provided by standard-style bikes such as the Suzuki SV or the Ducati Monster. (If you must hang with the Harley crowd, they'll be less likely to give you grief if you choose the Buell, though.)

You have the potential to be a great rider. Take the MSF class, and choose a bike that won't hold you back!

Ducati Monster

You're a bit of a snob, but otherwise well-adjusted.
Your bike is the Ducati Monster. Sexy. Powerful. Agile. Italian style in a badass matte black.

Of all the test takers, you are most likely to have been hoping for your result to indicate that your bike is a Harley. It isn't. Sorry. You show the potential to become a superior rider, and you need a bike that encourages and rewards your learning. The Harley will just hold you back, and you'll have nagging feelings that something is wrong.

The Suzuki SV series is also a good bet, but it wouldn't appeal to you. Far too Common.

Hmmm...

You have the potential to be a great lover. Take the class, and choose a man that won't hold you back. Go for group rides, and start riding in the winter as well as on summer evenings. More practice will ensure smoother handling and greater perfection. Keep your leathers greased, chains oiled and brakes adjusted, and eventually you will sleep better at rallies. It's probably best you don't go too fast at your age, so just slow down and take it easy - that is, if you want to arrive in one piece.

You, Sir, are a Hooligan. You have a bit of an attitude, and you don't care what people think about it. Your idea of a good time is seeing how far you can carry a wheelie between lanes of traffic. You crash a lot, but that's part of the fun, isn't it? Anyone who doesn't like it can sod off.

If you're not willing to put in some serious practice time, you should really get something a little less purposefully lethal.

Ahahahahah, this is great.

I liked the result:

Moto Guzzi V11

You've ridden 'em all. You love riding, and you're at the peak of your game. You develop irrational love for unusual motorcycles, and the latest acquisition is a sweet Moto Guzzi.

And although I haven't ridden them all, although the bit about me developping an irrational love for unusual bikes is pretty dead on.

Your bike is a Harley, generally ridden distances ranging from 2-3 miles between bars. You enjoy riding in packs with hundreds of your like-minded friends on charity runs, thundering down the highway in a loud, slow convoy. You faithfully attend Sturgis, Daytona, and Laconia, and have your bike unloaded off a trailer at the edge of town so that nobody sees that you didn't ride in.

You scored 7 on moxie, higher than 68% of your peers.
75/100 You scored 9 on zeal, higher than 75% of your peers.
67/100 You scored 5 on pomp, higher than 67% of your peers.

A 883 Sportster!

But it did go on to say...

"While the Sportster is a reasonable compromise, you may discover that you enjoy the added feedback provided by standard-style bikes such as the Suzuki SV or the Ducati Monster."

:2thumbsup

hahaha me too, (the 883) and my results were 0 moxie, 5 zeal, -3 pomp : "dead centre average without any of the quirks usual to people who ride motorbikes". What a boring old fart! lol

My result:

ST4 - pretty accurate (if I could afford one ... )
"You love riding, simply for the sake of riding.
A practical Ducati, but a Ducati nonetheless."

It's an 883 for me ! They must've seen my avatar.

Have been toying with making an XR750 flat tracker replica for years.
No action tho, still dreaming. Been buying too many other bikes.

Must say I've been eyeing up FXDs on Trade me recently.
Dark colour with matte engine, cases and exhaust for me, no shiny bits.

Came as a surprise as I always thought I was a conservative BMW sort of a guy.

You have the characteristics of a master street rider. On the way to work, your love for riding sometimes leads you to take the long way. The 50-miles-of-back-roads long way. You live for the perfect road, and plan vacations around riding.

600cc Sportbike

You scored 8 moxie, 4 zeal, and 5 pomp!

You'll live longer.

If you're not willing to put in some serious practice time, you should really get something a little less purposefully lethal.

You're a bit of a snob, but otherwise well-adjusted.
Your bike is the Ducati Monster. Sexy. Powerful. Agile. Italian style in a badass matte black

Erm. No, on the Harley. I want a Thunderbird.

But the rest is right.

I am a snob. I drink foreign beer, expensive coffee, wear fancy foreign leather and I detest the thought of riding what everyone else rides.

Quite scary that it got this right... [EDIT: and the duke would be OK with me too]
