I understand exactly what you mean.
You should see some of the 09 stuff coming out!

The americans design ideas are interesting to say the least.
Saying that, they make it for Supercross/Motorcross. And want their riders using the gear to be noticed.
They have trail riding gear which is a bit plainer, but finding womans versions proves hard as you propably know.

I don't mind some pink stuff, but expecting all women to dress like Motocross Barbie is a bit much. :nono: And most dirt bikes come in colours that would clash horribly with pink or baby blue

I've resigned myself to looking for some men's MX pants, but even then, it's hard to find something subtle and tasteful.

I hear you! I bought mens shirts to avoid the crap female gear, (Pink or baby blue in two styles) luckily some kids gear like gloves fitted me but as for pants I had to get my made as there wasn't anything around that fitted me (hobbit) but there wasn't much in chic gear around a couple of years ago- I had hoped the market would've improved by now. I hope they have enduro gear for women as well now- all my jackets are mens

Why does no one like the pink and blue gear LOL I reakon its great!

All my motorcross gear is black and bright pink.
And my road jack is a pink camo - I like it cos its different to every other black jacket out there.

Theres so much ladies gear around though that isnt pink - you just have to get it from Amercia.

Try BTO Sports - and Motorcyclegaint web sites.
So much awesome womens gear on them.

I like a bit of colour. Also helps when your in bright pink - clearly every one knows your a girl, and when you bail is sepectular fashion on a trial ride or something all the boys stop and help you up and make sure you ok.

Go the pink and blue :2thumbsup

I don't mind pink as such (I have some mountainbike gear that is pink), but I have an orange bike, and a red cordura jacket, so pink wouldn't really fit in with the colour scheme. And, it seems wrong, on principle, that the men's clothing comes in a wider range of colours than the womens.

While on the subject of bad colours, what is with all the white on womens gear? Who wears white when the go to play in the mud? Do they think we have nothing better to do than to stay home and stain-remove our motorbike gear?

Rant over :calm:

White is the coolest colour to wear as it reflects heat, darker colours absorb heat. Plus modern gear doesn't stain as easily as old fashioned stuff (with the exception of some nasty clay type soils which seem to stain just about anything) and anyway....who wants gear that looks like it's brand new everytime you go riding, that just screams noob....lol

yup, an dirty black oil is nasty to white gear too!!
my gear only looks new 4 the first 5 mins riding, i seem to wreak my gear pretty quickly, high speed crashes usually do this rather well.... lol
also i find that motox gear does not like being on a hot exhaust.... yyyyooowwwiiieeee

So true!
I got the fox 180/HC gear in black/grey/gold leopard print. Very me and not PINK! Or baby blue. I don't do baby blue :oi-grr: A bit of pink is alright (I have a pink & black helmet and roost guard with pink on it) but I don't want to look like a cupcake on a dirtbike - I want to look badass :p
Getting boots if you have wee feet (can't just wear the men's ones) that aren't pink and tacky is a bit hard too. I have black and white women's fox trackers and I love them, haven't seen them in shops tho, and they don't have the colour option on the site. A lot of the '09 gear is kinda neat. Very tempting to go buy more stuff even tho I don't need it :D

Yeah what is it about modern mx gear,it all looks like it was designed by some Tim Finn/Split Enz 70,s fan freak.

LOL your tread made me laugh as i don't even own any and i mean any pink clothes, Sadly it's like a sterio type that all chicks like pink, Yeh right, So i wud suggest that maybe the guys stuff or even a pair of camo pants, Fox stuff is normally pretty good too if you can get it in smaller sizes
