Not a VMax spotter, so not sure what you've done. Looks to me that for a start there's a tail change, fender chop, and changed the indicators? What else ya done buddy? :)

The mods are,.. rear wheel that I machined from a VTR inc. disc flange, braced & offset the swingarm, machined upper fork tube covers, machined velocity stacks, made solid engine mounts, made tail, surgery to the exhaust, progressive shocks front/rear and cosmetic stuff like chroming, seat profile, bars, mirrors etc.
Still lots to do but I'll leave that till next winter.

Just viewed the Vmax at our conference yesterday. She looks even bigger and meaner in the flesh. We had it running sounds nice, could be a little louder for my liking but very impressive. See it and the new 09 R1 at Big Boys toys this weekend.

December Cycle World mag arrived in the post last night - they have tested the new Vmax and Jay (PeeWee) Gleason reprised his testing of the original. He remarks it wheel stands easily - it weighs about 700 pound FFS and still wants to stand up - I guess 174 HP is not going to be denied...

Isn't that enough? You can get to the legal speed limit in 3rd gear can't you? So you can still ride it :ride:

You mean 2nd right , in 3rd gear from one end of the islander to the other and back thats if i dont loose another pin or do some damage , it might be easier just to buy the 09:woohoo:

That's an awesome bike mate! Very cool. Hey know anyone who could make a sissy bar for my V-Max? You know what those G forces are like.....hate to lose a lady off the back, so time consuming having to turn around and get them!

Cool looking bike.
