One time on holiday at lake Rotorua me and my brother were playing by the lake and a dead snapper floated past, I picked it out of the water.

We took a picture of it, sadly it was back in the days of cameras with a film so it's not readily available on the pc. It was bloddy big to, No idea how heavy it was but it was about arms length (when I was a kid).

Some poor bastard lost a good fish!

It was obviously frightened to death by the common freshwater Mako sharks that swarm in Lake Rotorua during this time of year...

Nah, there's no Mako's there - the croc's scared them all away, or ate them.

Any Cantabs here that fresh water fish. the bridge at the peg in Belfast has some of the best trout fishing. I no longer live there so I hope another biker has as much fun as I did fishing there.
Nice catch mate,

No idea how it got there, but it was big, and already dead as stated above. There must be some saltwater somewhere round the lake or whatever to catch the snapper.
