His is a great story, good job Scott.
He really wants to be an F1 driver coz he doesn't much like the ovals (you think?) but really i think his time has come and gone now for F1. The US is where the big money is and if he went into F1, he'd be 'too old' to mix it with Lewis Hamilton, the Tiger Woods of motorsport. He'd run mid to top foeld if he got into one of the big three teams or nowhere if he didn't.
He's now way better off staying where he is at the top and banking the top dollars. You ever seen the pictures of him as a fat lil 13yo driving a Nissan Sentra? Doesn't look like the same guy.

Be very careful about what you say about fat 13-year-olds.
And I hope Scott Dixon is a contender for a Halberg Award.

I agree with you there. He should really carve a name for himself in the US, with multiple titles to his credit. F1 could be his nemesis.
Or he might have become bored with left turns...

Agreed. Especially considering this is now his second championship win in what is the biggest motorsport event in the USA.

He's a white bloke that drives a car in America - the Halberg award will go to a big brown girl that throws lumps of metal around.

He won't win the Halberg in an Olympic year.

I saw Scott being interviewed a month or so ago and they asked about F1 - he said he'd love to but he'd be considered too old now!!!!!!!!

I suspect that the F1 teams have to invest a considerable amount of money in a driver (the costs go far beyond the salary). If the driver can't provide them with a good number of years then it probably isn't cost effective.
