Looking like a rather spankin' weekend will fall upon us this coming weekend.
I have a feeling Sunday may be the better of the two.
Leaving Warkworth Mobil at 10am.
Destination is Kaikohe.
From there, whoever wants to do the forrest can.
Alternative is back down twin bridges or SH1 to Waipu/Langs/Mangawhai.
First regroup will be Maungatapere.
Second regroup at the bridges.

Here is the 'txt' er 'email' er whatever (not a pm :innocent:) I got from Mr D...
Mangakahia (Twin Bridges) is not too bad at the moment. Not much it the way off road works, but watch out for the potholes and peametal washed on ta the road, especially leading up to and going North for the Twin Bridges. Road it with Laava and the Use-less-ly Last Sunday. Best thing they did was stopping the brigdes to regroup as it brought the pace down past the bridges. There was a few messy corners (potholes & peametal on blind apexes) just North of the bridges which needed ya Bike brain turned on.

Ok, I admit it, I made up a word today.
Well it is not a made up word as such, it has a real clear meaning, specially used they way I did
My made up word was the result of combining two words together, I promise I will try harder to formulate sentences in future.
The result of my lazy mouth/brain combination saw me very clearly ask Draco if she wanted a root? :o
Not sure which one of us was more surprised actually  there was a moment of absolute silence before we both started laughing :killingme
Mind you she is Hawt, hawt, hawt, loved the lap dance babe
What a fantastic day out! Good to meet a few new faces too, and extra good to see some we have not seen in ages!
The two word combo that tripped me up today;
rain suit - root
See anyone could have done that! :sunny:

it's good to ride up north every now and then; reminds me why i rarely bother
too much traffic, too much road works, not enough options
south is always better

I prefer the picture of the pretty 'white' bike myself.....;) and as for that photo of those two rude women I think Laava could sell that one.
Great day with a great bunch. I find the wee Harley doesnt really like falling into potholes too much. And as for those damn cows taking up the entire road...I am sure they will make great steaks one day.
The traffic came to a screeching holt just past Puhoi for no reason that I could see. Nice to be able to just go round the outside of them.

Nice ride with pleasant company. Cheers all.
I went to Doubtless Bay after I left you lot at the Paihia turnoff.
Finally got back to Ak. on Mon night.
Avon Storm on rear is worn out. Less than 5000kms. Won't be putting them back on.
Hey Laava, when I saw you down the bank I thought you had binned. Couldn't figure out how your bike got where it was for an instant. Kind of spoiled the shot as I stood the bike up and slowed considerably. Could have got a good lean on if I realised what you were really up to.:woohoo:
