If you have any issue with who has been nominated PM a senior Mentor with your concerns

To what end? [insert :spudwhat: emoticodweebicon here]
If (by some weird and bizarre fluke of fate) I were nominated as a mentor, I'd change my name to "Phuk", or "Screw" or "Roger", or summat like that.

But that's never gonna happen - it's like with everything else: you need to not be invisible and mentally "differentiated".

umm that makes no sense... but then again neither does life...

The Mentors are nominated and then if you disagree and a have a vaible reason why someone should n't be a mentor then let them know... if they don't that the monated person doesn't know how to ride and truely is a complete cock then why would the senior mentors stop him from becoming one if they don't know but mets the rest of the crietia

And you're surprised about that because...?
NOTHING I say makes much sense (hence my signatures lines, which are a form of disclaimer, and which keeps me from being bothered by people asking me stuff). But then neither does most of what is said or happens on KB make any sense.
It's not like it's Real Life or anything, y'know.

it's the KB equivalent of a God but instead of "the great I AM" Mental is thought he'd risk eternal damnation and went for "Me" instead.

Those ":Me"s can smite your ass though - they'll give you boils, plagues of locusts... erectile problems all that good stuff so keep kissing their hineys till your nose is brown - and then some!

Yip Budd as race mentor, good idea... but the ladie that bullied them (budds words) into the position has no idea just like those that 'plastered it all over the forums' they have never ridden with the mentors... it was a populatery contest simple as, like when a senior mods concerns were pushed aside on just this.

Well if anyone can actually define "ride properly" like whos to say what properly is? (eg: my style suits me but may not others)
I believe ther are people full of wisdom that would make ideal mentors but they are not the sort to stand up, I find those that do stand up have a lot to learn themselves last time arond BiffBaff was a classic example, his riding ability (vewied 1st hand) left a lot to be desired.

Yeah well Budhha is such a shy retiring sort of guy I'm sure he'd never stand up for himself if he didn't want to do it

It's fairly obvious from what you've put in here that you have no real idea about the whole process regarding the mentors and why and how those decisions were made

I believe ther are people full of wisdom that would make ideal mentors but they are not the sort to stand up,

Some of them also can't be bothered getting involved, if you think you have someone worthwhile there's nothing to stop you putting them forward

There's mentors appointed who I don't believe are suitable either and I opposed, did you pm anyone regarding your concerns?

I think some were elected solely because of their popularity with certain sectors of this site, but at the end of the days I don't give a toss because I won't be using their services and if the system works as it should people like that will be weeded out

BTW kick... sarcassim is the lowest form of wit, you can do beter.

I reckon the 'mentor' system is just a few flags in a database and a pair of green letters on screens that'll mostly be ignored and a couple of years from now be quietly turned off due to a profound lack of relevance to anything aside from a few rather large egos.

large EGO's you fucking kidding me, just because some people are keen to help others we get accused of having large ego's.
the whole thing, which I started, was due to a shitload of new members crashing and not having a clue how to ride, or having a clue about anything to do with bikes, since its inception there has been fuckloads of people bennefit from it, how many crshes have been saved ?

Tell me anything bad about the system which is real and accurate as opposed to what appears to be a bunch of whinging dickheads with nothing better to do than raise their wanky concerns for no benifit other than to muster up green rep and then maybe your wishes will be granted and we will as a group ignore the new members and leave them to their own misguided devices.
If ya got nothing nice to say about the effort then be quiet

That goes to all of you, consider yourselves served !

FYI

Originally people were saying that the process for sorting Mentors was a popularity contest and that's it. They didn't know the actual and all they could see was lots of people saying oh yeah xxx would be great. So we closed the nomination threads and said all feedback should be submitted by pm only.

The positive feedback (of which there was loads) is always good to see but that wasn't what we were looking for. The negative feedback was the important part. If someone got consistantly negative feedback (particularly if it's all about the same things) then chances are they wouldn't get through to be a Mentor. Approximately 1/3 of those nominated got some negative feedback. However, it was only 1 or 2 bits of feedback about different areas. Nobody got any negative feedback about the same thing from different sources.
