I did the loop on Wednesday and also rode to whanga yesterday. contractors have left two fucking great holes in the road right on the line you use. they have ground out the seal down to the base layer in two patches right on the apex of two corners in two patches 4meres by 1.5metre. They have just left it - no signs no cones! and also there is deep sand all over the road where a Mollases truck rolled on wednesday! all this is in one small section between Whiritoa and Waihi.
