Hey guys..
Does anyone know if the Z1000 and ZX10 suspension is interchangeable?
Just looking at the ohlins site and they only list for ZX10... If I decide not to get the Aprilia for some reason I think Id be keen on a Z1000 with ohlins bouncy bits... Because they are purdy..
Cheerio :woohoo:

If you ditch a Z1000 front end to do that let me know.

I recently bought a '04 Z1000 rear shock off a guy on trademe, I believe he replaced it with an ohlins (he sent the z1000 shock in an ohlins box). He's got z1000 forks on trademe at the moment too. There's also a zx10 front end there (different seller).

Mate of mine fitted a standard zx10 shock into a Z1000. Wasnt a straight swap though. From memory he had to use a mixture of parts from the two linkages to get the right ride height. Once he got it sorted, it made a significant difference to the handling.
